We were coming home from a long journey spent with an old pal. Unsurprisingly, I had been goaded into taking my car, and consequently the wheel, so that my brothers could revel in the drive and go for a snooze.
In the dark, I made out the lone figure of a female standing next to a stationary car. I guessed she needed a lift. I was eager to help that I even had my auto safety kit on the ready in the seat next to mine as I slowed my vehicle down.
Suddenly, a pair of thugs with guns surfaced from the back of her vehicle. Their attempts to enter my car gave me time to seize the stun gun buried among my travel safety tools and fire.
One brother switched a personal safety alarm on while the other thumped the second attacker with a multi-purpose emergency auto alarm good for shattering auto glass. After all those times they bantered about my auto safety kit, they now knew it well!
The attackers never saw it coming. We fought back with the auto safety kit that I only brought out with the intention to help a lady whom I thought needed it. My brothers have since procured their own travel security tools.
